The CF-1010 tone-arm is manufactured from a one-piece titanium tube, with an integral tone-arm/headshell design. The tube has a very particular curved shape to best control resonant behaviour, optimising stiﬀness, and pushing the ﬁrst resonant mode up as high as possible.

The very stiﬀ composite head-shell design puts the (damped) fundamental frequency of the head-shell at 14,000 Hz, and the composite material used, absorbs 80-90% of unwanted vibrational energy from the cartridge body - ensuring a ‘clean’ sound quality.

The CF-1010 bearing design oﬀers both very accurate alignment, concentricity, and life-long reliable zero ‘jitter’. This critical pre-loading for zero microns tolerance allows the cartridge to pick up the very smallest details from the vinyl groove, without distortion.

The CF-1010 comes complete with accurate set up tools, a good quality tone-arm cable, a digital cartridge downforce gauge, and carbon-ﬁbre LP brush, to aid both quick and easy set up, and use.

New CF-1010 owners are however oﬀered a cartridge speciﬁc optimisation service, to enable you get the very best sound possible, from your speciﬁc cartridge. Our calculating software allows you to select (or us to suggest) the optimum resonant frequency for best tracking and bass quality, with the use of head-shell weights, if required.
